The 2014 J2(J-league division 2)-season started.

Consadole Sapporo had a 1st match with Jubilo IWATA on YAMAHA STADIUM (SHIZUOKA-KEN). Jubilo are long-established club, have three times won the J-League (J-league division 1; J1) title. The club were demoted to J2 in 2014. Consadole faced tough opposition from Jubilo.

Jubilo dominated the game and attacked on goal repeatedly. However Consadole MF Sunakawa scored on a free kick in the 16th minute to win the game.

Consadole Sapporo took the 1st game of 2014 season. Sapporo’s adventure to the J-league first (J1) started.
